You can try Indian Karela. Make juice from Indian Karela and drink it in empty stomach every day morning. After 40 days it will improve fasting sugar.

If someone wants to try something like cinnamon (or chromium pincolinate which is what a friend of mine was prescribed by the doctor) that they have heard works for some people, why do people always have to come up and say that it is stupid or a waste of time or money? I have seen several people say that it has helped them and several others that say it doesn't help them. It just might be something that will help this person.
As for there being nothing you can see in cinnamon that would help someone, can you tell (or see) what it is in turmeric that is anti-inflammatory? Can you see what it is in ginger or peppermint that helps when someone has an upset stomach? Can you see what it is in the drugs that you are taking that is what is doing what it is supposed to? Whatever it is has to come from somewhere and someone had to try it before they could even come up with the idea that it might work to do whatever it is supposed to do.

Well said.
There are so many chemicals in food that has not been tested yet.

Maybe it's the "what isn't" in cinnamon that helps bg's.

Only if you raise it too high! LOL! Usually only takes raising it a few inches to help though.

I've upped my intake of cinnamon with nothing disastrous happening.
However, I read somewhere there are two processes for refining cinnamon, and the water process is the one to use in order for cinnamon to have any effect. But how does one find that out?
On the subject of additives, flaxseed does have some good effect, but the seeds have to ground for it to be effective.

I read that something in salavia nutralizes the effect of cinnamon
so for it to have a good effect it must be taken in capsule form.
