can't remember but I know that I can't take either one. I have a very bad paradoxical reaction to anything with regular or synthetic codeine in it...I become hysterical and hallucinate! So I really don't know what it would do to my BS numbers.
However, I have Fibromyalgia and several other nerve and muscle pain problems and must have pain medication or my BS really goes high. Blood pressure too. For many years now I have been taking Darvocette which is 100 mg of Darvon with ?mg of acetomenephrin (?). It doesn't raise my BS at all and really helps with the muscle pain. My pharmacist did tell me to ask the Doctor to change me to plain Darvon 100, even if it took an extra pill as the acetomenephrin is the only med she could see on my huge list that could damage my liver or kidneys. I will follow through next month. It is a med that has been around for decades and doesn't seem to have serious side effects...at least not for me.
